The Ceremony

Two hours.
One breath, returning.

Each ceremony is a two-hour container, with one full hour of circular connected yin-style breathwork held inside it. The time around the breath is just as sacred — landing in the space, weaving a field that feels safe, intimate, and held for everyone present. Together we move through gentle practices that prepare the body and quiet the mind, bringing us into alignment with the specific intention of that ceremony, and a soft priming of the nervous system and brain for where the breath is about to take us. We close with integration, stillness, and the sealing of the field.

Not a trauma-release breathwork.

Although we do work with the relegating of older emotion, this is not a trauma-release practice. It is for those who have already met and resolved their trauma and are ready to take the work further — into the subtler layers of inherited imprint, frequency, and presence.

Air is plant medicine.

The trees breathe out the air that we breathe in. Every inhale is a gift from the forests — the same forests that have offered humanity its oldest medicines. Air, met with reverence and intention, is itself plant medicine.

Conscious, circular breathing is one of the most ancient technologies of consciousness we have. The yogis of India worked with pranayama for thousands of years. Tibetan lamas, Taoist sages, Sufi mystics, and Indigenous elders and healers across the Americas all used rhythmic breath to enter expanded states — to receive vision, clarity, and remembrance.

What plant medicine offers, the breath also offers — gently, naturally, and on your own terms.

The body's own psychedelic doorway.

Sustained circular breathing shifts blood chemistry — altering the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide, modulating cerebral blood flow, and quieting the default mode network of the brain (the same network quieted by psychedelic compounds). In this state, the pineal gland is understood to release endogenous DMT — dimethyltryptamine — the same molecule the body produces in deep sleep, in dream, and at the threshold of birth and death.

The result is a naturally occurring psychedelic state, woven from within. The same doorway opened by plant medicines — reached through your own breath. No external substance. No integration downtime. Safe and suitable for almost anyone, and far more gentle.

The shape of our time together.

  • I.Arrival and preparation. We drop into the space, set intention, and come into communication with the body — opening the lungs, softening the nervous system, and priming the mind. Gentle practices begin to open us and weave a safe sonar for shedding, expansion, and the journey ahead.
  • II.One full hour of circular connected yin-style breathwork, held in sound.
  • III.Integration, stillness, and the closing of the field.
